Karen is a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 20 years experience in providing neurological rehabilitation.
Prior to founding Horizon Rehabilitation, Karen was the Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist for inpatient neurorehabilitation across Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust from 2013- 2018 and Clinical Lead for Buckinghamshire Stroke Early Supported Discharge Service (ESD).
Karen has also worked as Therapy Manager at the Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital, home of the International Spinal Injuries Centre.
She now divides her time between clinical work, training and education, and supporting the professional development of other therapists. This includes delivering post-graduate courses (theory and practical) to colleagues, tutors, students and professional groups, as well as supporting local and national charities.
Karen is a committee member for South Central ACPIN and a tutor for the British and International Bobath Instructor Training Association (BBTA & IBITA).
