We are proud to collaborate with a number of registered charities and are committed to improving lives, alongside like minded Buckinghamshire businesses.
For those who can’t easily attend therapy sessions in a clinic, Horizon Rehabilitation are always happy to take our reablement services out into the community. We are grateful to our partners who facilitate this by encouraging clients to access Horizon’s home visits.

BNU Sports Therapy
Did you know…? Horizon Rehabilitation’s Clinical Director, Karen Blagojevic, is a Visiting Lecturer on the Sports Therapy course at Buckinghamshire New University (BNU)!
As well as sharing her expertise in the classroom, Karen and the Horizon Rehabilitation team are proud to support students at BNU by:

Elite Physical Medicine
With clinics in Aylesbury and Tring, Elite Physical Medicine bring a whole team approach to their management of musculoskeletal conditions.
Horizon Rehabilitation work in partnership with Elite to provide specialist services to patients with Neurological and Vestibular problems.
The Complete Physio Clinic
Based in Amersham, The Complete Physio Clinic is an established practice with a friendly team of very experienced chartered physiotherapists.
Horizon Rehabilitation work alongside their therapists to provide specialist services to patients with Neurological and Vestibular problems.


Aston Hearing/Help in Hearing
Horizon Rehabilitation work with expert Audiologists to support our patient with Vestibular problems (balance and dizziness).
This includes supporting people whose ability to participate in everyday situations is impacted by their hearing difficulties.

Ashridge Home Care
Many of our patients benefit from support at home to work on their rehabilitation goals on a daily basis.
Ashridge Home Care can provide this support, offering both sessional home care visits or live-in carers.
Ashridge Home Care has been rated as outstanding in the Caring Category by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). With an overall rating of Good in all other categories for being safe, effective, well-led and responsive to people’s needs.


Avery Collection
For those living in supported environments (Residential or Care homes), Horizon Rehabilitation provide 1:1 Physiotherapy and/or regular visits from a Therapy Assistant. With expert guidance and practical help to stay strong and steady, patients are able to enjoy more of the benefits and opportunities that assisted living has to offer.
Lucinda, our Therapy Assistant, enjoys her weekly Love to Move! (Dementia specific exercise class) sessions at Beaconsfield Heights, a member of the Avery Collection.
BOPAG
Horizon Rehabilitation are proud supporters of Buckinghamshire Older Persons’ Action group (BOPAG).
We regularly publish our Success Stories and other useful information about Living Well Longer in their monthly magazine: Hoot.


Dementia Action Marlow
Horizon Rehabilitation have been supporting Dementia Action Marlow (DAM) by delivering the Let’s Get Moving session every Thursday at the Pugin Rooms, St Peter’s Church, Marlow.
The Stroke Association: Marlow Stroke Club
Horizon Rehabilitation are proud to be able to support Marlow Stroke Club by providing seated exercise sessions every Monday from 4pm at Marlow Age Concern, Glade Road.


Marlow Sports Club
Marlow Sports Club is a registered charity located in the heart of Marlow. Their aim is to promote sports in the Marlow community and include everyone, irrespective of age, background or physical status.
The facility is home to two dedicated clinic rooms where the Horizon team provide Sports Rehabilitation, Massage Therapy and Specialist Rehabilitation Clinics.
Red Kite Ride
Featured in Cycling Weekly’s Best Sportives near London, the Red Kite Ride takes place every year in September across the Chilterns – a top UK cycling destination.
Organised and run entirely by unpaid volunteers at Marlow Riders Cycling Club, the Red Kite Ride is run by cyclists, for cyclists, to raise money for local charities. At the time of writing, more than £100,000 has been raised for local causes.
On 3rd September 2023, Horizon Rehabilitation attended the Red Kite Ride Sportive, with the support of Sports Therapy Students from Buckinghamshire New University, providing post event massage to raise funds for the nominated charities.


Marlow Half Marathon
Horizon Rehabilitation are proud supporters of the Marlow Half Marathon, providing post event massage to raise funds for the nominated charities, with the support of Sports Therapy Students from Buckinghamshire New University.
Runners’ Retreat
Runners’ Retreat is a local running specialist store, offering a large number of shoes, plus clothing, accessories and apparel, a gait analysis service and expert advice on all things running.

Places Leisure
Court Garden Leisure Complex on Pound Lane in Marlow run by Places Leisure and is home to many of our specialist movement therapy classes.

ACPIN
The Association of Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN) is a registered charity and professional network of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
ACPIN is a dynamic and proactive group that encourages the pursuit of excellence in the field of neurological physiotherapy practice.
Horizon Rehabiliation’s Clinical Director, Karen, supports ACPIN as a member of the South Central Committee. Karen regularly provides education and training opportunities via the network.


Marlow Chamber of Commerce
Horizon Rehabilitation is a member of the Marlow & District Chamber of Commerce.
Parkinsons-UK
We support the Slough, Maidenhead and Windsor Branch of Parkinson’s UK to provide evidence-based exercise for people with Parkinsons at Burnham Park Hall every Wednesday. There are both seated and standing classes to cater for all abilities. Contact the secretary for more information

Active in the Community
AITC make physical activity accessible and affordable across Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Berkshire.
Through Local Authority and Public Health activity services, the team ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be more physically active in an accessible and affordable way.
Horizon Rehabilitation collaborate with AITC as part of our Pathway to Participation, increasing people’s physical capabilities to a point that they feel confident to participate in community activities.
