Darshika is a highly capable therapist who is committed to supporting people to “feel more like themselves”.

She is a Chartered Physiotherapist with considerable experience working with patients with a variety of neurological conditions.

Since graduating from Cardiff University in 2010, Darshika has worked in a number of rehabilitation and stroke wards across South East England, as well as the Multiple Sclerosis Centre in Harrow, London.

Before joining Horizon Rehabilitation, Darshika worked in High Wycombe for six years, covering the hyper-acute and acute stroke units, the medical day assessment unit and the Drake Day Hospital, supporting older people and people with Parkinsons’.

Using her expert knowledge of biomechanics, Darshika is on a mission to help her patients move more and move better – whatever conditions or difficulties you might be facing.

Darshika’s specialist skills include:

  • Helping older people to prevent and recover from falls
  • Creating bespoke treatment plans for people with Parkinson’s Disease.
  • Focusing on getting the building blocks of movement correct so that everything else falls into place
  • Helping you learn about and re-connect with your body to maximise what you can gain from therapy
  • Helping people to regain their functional ability and independence
  • Helping people to achieve their full potential at their own pace
